How to Build DIY Farmers Walk Handles
What You Need
Saw
Knife or Box Cutter
4-Pack of 6 Foot Tie-Down Straps
3/4″ PVC Pipe – two 1′ pieces (2′ total)
Instructions
First cut the 1′ pieces of PVC pipe into 6″+ inch pieces based on the size of your hand. Just grip the piece of PVC, mark 1″ inch from your hand on each side and make the cuts. These will be your handles.
Now take one of the tie-down straps. You are going to remove the extra hook from the strap by cutting the loop connecting it. Then take that long piece of strap out of the lock and return it the other way so it will lock correctly. Feed the other uncut end loop through your PVC handle and connect to the remaining hook to form a loop.
Lastly run part of you loop through the opening in your weights and then tuck the handle side under through the loop cinching down the weight.

Tips
Make sure to check the load capacity of the tie-downs you get.
To fit more weight you can use a longer (10′) tie-down.
Using thin metal plates will allow you to fit more weight.
Another great way to increase difficulty is by using different diameters of PVC.
