Sole is not a newcomer to the treadmill marketplace. They’ve been selling treads in the United States for several decades now. With hundreds of thousands of treadmills sold worldwide. Considered a budget friendly brand. What their treadmills may lack in HD color displays they make up for in warranty and reputation for quality. Below is a more in depth review of the Sole F63 vs F80.
Sole F63
My first impression of the F63 is that it’s a good sized treadmill. For the price I was expecting something smaller, but the tread felt surprisingly roomy. With great overall stability. Even at the higher incline. Looking at the dashboard, everything feels pretty straight forward. And you can tell this is a no frills, get on and run type of treadmill. Especially when compared to brands like Peloton and NordicTrack.
Once running, the F63 felt great. The deck was smooth and soft. And again, the overall size and quality of the entire treadmill surprised me. It really does run like a higher end treadmill with lower end tech features. One thing that did stand out to me was the length of the safety side bars. I get why they made them short, for saving space when folding up. But I’d be hesitant to push my speed and incline with how short they are. Sole has also included buttons on the side rails, which are great for quickly changing seeds. But it makes the safety area even shorter.
Overall I enjoyed running on the F63. It’s a no fuss quality machine without all the extras.
Sole F80
The Sole F80 is a comfortably sized treadmill. And a bit larger than the F63. With the extra size comes a larger running area, heavier weight capacity, and stronger motor. The dashboards are almost identical except the F80 has a bit larger screen and extra row of buttons for setting just below it. Even with the large size, the side rails are still much shorter than I would like to see.
Running on the Sole f80 feels incredibly roomy. The 22” wide belt gives you a bit of room if you tend to drift. With the same roller and overall deck design as the F63 you get a very similar running experience. Where the F80 shines in on the inclines and with heavier runners. If you want to run at 10%+ inclines then the extra 0.5HP really helps. And if you and runner over 225lbs or walker over 300lbs, the extra strength and size of the F80 are a perfect fit for a reasonable price. Then there is the extra warranty. Just an added bonus.

Conclusion
When comparing the Sole F63 vs F80, I found there is a lot to love about both of these treadmills. The F63 is a solid machine at a great price point. If you are on a budget and want something to get you running without breaking the bank. I highly recommend the F63.
Then there is the F80. Everything you get from the F63, with just a little bit more. A little wider, heavier max weight, stronger motor, bigger display, and a longer warranty. At least it’s clear where the extra money is going. And the F80 is a great choice for a lot of people.
Which should I buy?
For me it’s pretty clear. I’m going with the F63 since it would suit my needs perfectly. That said, if you are a runner over 225lbs or walker over 300lbs I would recommend getting the F80 for the extra strength and warranty. I’d also note that the slightly larger screen of the F80 might be a better fit for someone with poor vision.
