Under Armour Flow Velociti Elite Overview
In a world full of runners all looking to set their personal bests. Every brand has to be on top of designing and offering the latest and greatest in technology. And Introducing the Under Armour Flow Velociti Elite, the brand has leaped into the world of carbon plated running with both feet. Especially with the prototypes being on the feet of the 2022 New York Marathon winner Sharon Lockedi. Building up a lot of hype for the brand’s new marathon distance super.
The shoes themselves feature a couple unique features which may be intriguing to a lot of people. The first is the new UA Flow foam that is both the cushion and sole of the shoe. With the brand claiming that the foam is durable enough to stand up to the miles while providing enough cushion and grip.
Next on the standout feature list is the minimalists and breathable, webbed upper design. Which promises to grip the foot while maintaining an extremely light weight. Between this and the new foam, there is no plastic used in the shoes. Allowing them to shave as much weight as possible. With all of this sitting on a full length carbon plate for energy return. Making for a very formidable combination.
Conclusion
With an April 7th, 2023 release date, there are still a lot of unknowns when it comes to the Under Armour Flow Velociti Elite road running shoes. The brand has yet to release the weight, drop, and stack height of their new super shoes, which I’m sure is intentional to help build up the suspense. And with a promised “exclusive gift” for the first people lucky enough to get their hands on a pair of these. Under Armour has managed to combine what looks to be a great shoe, with a coordinated marketing push that is sure to build the hype and get some social media features. In fact, the “gift” even has me interested and I may try and hop online to get in the cue for a pair myself.
At the time of writing this, Under Armour Flow Velociti Elite has not been released. If you have had a chance to test or run in them, please let us know your thoughts in the comments below! And I’ll update this piece with more info once the shoes drop.
