How to Build DIY Nunchuck Grips
What You Need
Saw
Power Drill
3/8 inch Drill Bit
3/8 inch x 3.5 inch carabiner
1/2+ inch White PVC Pipe – 28+ inches
3/8 inch Diamond Braid Rope (50+ feet)
Instructions
First, use the saw to cut the PVC pipe into two 14 inch (minimum) pieces. After cutting your PCV pipe, pick one side and mark a line a minimum of 1.25 inches from one end. Then use the drill and create a hole through the pipe on that 1.25 inch mark.
Now that you have your nunchuck grips we need something to hand them with. For this we are going to cut two pieces of rope 4 feet in length. Now run the rope through the hole on the PVC. If the hole is too tight then use the drill to widen the hole.
From here we are going to be tying a figure 8 knot at the end of each rope. Make sure to leave a loop at the end of each side. We will then connect the two ends using the carabiner allowing you to attach your DIY nunchuck grips to any pull up bar.

Notes & Tips
You can use different diameter PVC to increase the difficulty.
I recommended 14″ length as a minimum but you can make them longer. 2′ is actually a good length allowing you to add vertical jumps/climbs to your training.
