The HIGHLANDER Adventure is a long-distance hiking event series. Offering hikers the opportunity to complete 2-5 day, 30k-100k, non-competitive hikes in some of the world’s most beautiful locations. These include National Parks and World Heritage sites.

HIGHLANDER Adventures offers people three different event formats / distances. Providing options for hikers of all ability levels. Below are the three options, distances, and time frames for each.

Duration: 5 Day / 120 Hours Max
Distance: 100km (+/- 10%)
Route: Start – 4 Checkpoints – Finish

Duration: 3 Day / 60 Hours Max

HIGHLANDER Experience
Duration: 2 Day / 36 Hours Max
Distance: 30km (+/- 10%)

Is HIGHLANDER Adventures a race?
No, the HIGHLANDER Adventure is not a race. There are no prizes or podium awards. Participants are encouraged to hike at their pace. And enjoy meeting new people along with the incredible nature along the way.
Do Finishers Receive a Medal or Patch?
Every person that finishes their selected distance will receive an event patch. Showing them as a finisher of the event.
What Equipment do I need for a HIGHLANDER Event?
The equipment needed for each event is different based on the location and weather. General gear includes hiking shoes, backpack, tent, sleeping bag, gas stove, compass, first aid kit, headlamp / torch, and appropriate clothes based on the conditions.
