Overview
Why you want it: The Lifeline Jungle Gym resistance trainer is light weight, well built, and probably the #1 selling TRX alternatives on the market. The handles are easy to clean compared to foam handles on other brands. And most importantly the dual attachments provide much greater flexibility if you have the right place to connect them. Overall the price for the quality on this is a great value.
Why you might think twice: This product doesn’t have the same “durable” feel as the TRX. And that shows up in the reviews with a few people have that broke or wore down (grips) rather quickly. Many were able to get their items replaced.
The Lifeline Jungle Gym Resistance Trainer Review:
“Like many others I was torn between this and the TRX. Recently my gym installed some TRX equipment and had a chance to try it out. While I like the TRX, two things led me to the Jungle Gym: 1) Price, 2) Having two independent straps. Like the TRX, JG is very well made, no complaints there.
A couple minor issues with the product are that the exercise poster and DVD are pretty lame, actually the really suck (especially the poster). However everyone and their mother are posting all kinds of routines using these types of products on youtube and elsewhere, so not a big deal. Other issue is that I’m not 100% sure I like the semi-non-rotating handle. Another thing I would strongly recommend is hanging this from a well mounted pull up bar or something similar; doing it off a door is ok but limiting.”
RitFit Bodyweight Resistance Training Kit

Overview
Why you want it: The RitFit’s price is what gets your attention but don’t think they skimped on the quality. The product also comes with the option to add rings for a little extra. Allowing you to take your fitness up a notch adding in a whole list of new stability exercises. And the design provides the option to switch out grips quickly and easily.
Why you might think twice: The foot loops on the handles can be hard to get in and out of if you have larger feet. Also for travel, the carabiners used for switching grips will add some weight. From what I read in reviews the product doesn’t come with any manual. So this may not be perfect for first timers.
RitFit Bodyweight Resistance Training Kit Review:
“I’ve had this product for 2-3 weeks now, and I’ve enjoyed using it. It’s pretty easy to get started, especially for at first time user. I would say that the manual lacks how to set it up, but with the help of some google searches, I was able to figure out how to adjust the lengths the way I wanted it. The same is true for the door stopper, which took me some time to truly figure out.
Great product otherwise, but 4 stars for lack of enough instructions for beginner users.”
Moulyan Bodyweight Resistance Training Straps
Price: $62.86
Reviews: 199
Stars: 4.5
Wall Mount: Included
Amazon Link: Click Here
Why you want it: The Moulyan comes with adjustable foot straps, an extra resistance band, door mount and wall mount. As far as bang for your buck. This may be the best budget TRX alternative on the market. The wall mount alone provides a lot of value compared to other options.
Why you might think twice: One of the areas they saved cost it with the handles. They are not padded. This isn’t a problem for most people but I did read a few reviews that mentioned it. The system also doesn’t come with much of an instructional video, but Youtube will have you covered with workouts!
Moulyan Bodyweight Resistance Training Straps Review:
“I’ve had TRX bands and a couple other knock offs and can honestly say these are the best I’ve used. Granted I just got them, but I can’t see how these incredibly durable handles could ever break. Plus, their shape enables you to do a lot with them. All in all, I am very happy with this buy.”
KEAFOLS Bodyweight Fitness Resistance Kit
Price: $58.99
Reviews: 200+
Stars: 4.5
Instructions: Included
Amazon Link: Click Here
Why you want it: The KEAFOLS makes it incredibly easy to switch from hand to feet grips through a unique buckle system. The other major selling point, the price tag.
Why you might think twice: Some reviews have mentioned that they question the stability of the buckles but they yet to report a break. Other than that it’s just a bear bones starter that works. If your looking for workouts and guide book this may not be the suspension trainer for you.
KEAFOLS Bodyweight Fitness Resistance Kit Review:
“I don’t usually write reviews, but felt compelled to do so for this product. With gyms being closed, I wanted a full body suspension system to use at home. I first looked at the TRX brand, but they were sold out. This product got good reviews so I figured I would give it a try.
Pros- easy to use, buckles make switching between handles and foot holds easy, cheaper than TRX brand, great range of motions, strong and great quality material.
Cons- the buckles constantly hit the door so you need to be careful and gently lay them against the door. Otherwise they would scuff my white door. Also, while the buckles ensure a good and strong hold, they also make adjusting each individual strap to an equal length mire difficult. This is where I prefer the TRX brand. Regardless of brand, the “over the door” option (which is what I use) needs to be used on a door that swings out as opposed to opening into the room. Otherwise, unless it’s a solid, strong door, the door will bow in and not be a stable base. That would be for any suspension system though and not unique to this product.
Overall, a great alternative to the TRX brand and I’ve gotten a great workout at home! I would buy again and recommend to a friend!”
