They are unisex for easy fitting, come in a veriety of sizes ( I like the quarter socks), and you can find Balega socks at almost every running store around the world. They are that well known. Merino Wool is one of the most comfortable materials you can wear. Perfect for any weather, Merino Wool is notoriously expensive and known to have trouble holding up in light weight socks. Enter the Darn Tough Micro Crew Cushioned sock. Using a mix of Nylon and Merino Wool, you get the comfort and Merino with the added strength and lower price point that comes with the Nylon knit. One of my favorite things about the Darn Tough sock line is the color and design options. They are not unisex o just make sure you getting the right fit before ordering. Here are links to both men’s and women’s.

Everyone I know that runs in the Injinji toe socks say they love them. I haven’t run into them yet so I am taking this review and reference from friends that run in them. The common consensus is that if you can get used to the individual toe design, they are incredibly comfortable. Prevent blisters. And the proprietary material Injinji uses may be some of the best on the market. Performing in all weather conditions. I ordered a pair and plan on testing them out and will update once I get a chance to put some serious miles on them. They are unixes in design and the Ultra model comes in both high and minin crew. Both listed above.
