To me, the 400 meter run is the perfect distance for a Crossfit workout of the day (WOD). It’s runnable for almost all levels, keeps the workout to a manageable time limit, and you don’t need a ton of space outside of the gym. And for the early morning crowd, not one wants to run 800+ meters in the dark. Because of this I was recently putting together a list of which Crossfit workouts include a 400 meter run for my gym.
