If you have never tried a massage gun for recovery, then I can tell you for sure that you are missing out. Long gone are the days of needing to see a massage therapist every other week. Or asking your significant other for an after work shoulder rub. With the right massage gun you can knock out those knots and sore muscles in minutes. All from the comfort of your own home. So when Bob and Brad reached out and asked for an honest review of their C2 Massage Gun, I told them I would love to test it out. And in full disclosure, I received the massage gun for free in exchange for my honest, no holds bar review. Meaning they wanted me to tell you what I really feel about their product, for better or worse. So after 2 weeks of testing, here is my Bob and Brad C2 Massage Gun review after!

When I first received my massage gun in the mail, I was impressed with both the outer boxing and included carrying case. On the outside there is definitely a mid to premium level feel to the packaging. Everything included with the massage gun comes packaged in the to-go carrying case. That has slots designed to fit everything snug for travel.
A couple of pleasant surprises included the new Type-C charger, for fast charging. And a the manual actually doubles as a guide to muscle groups and the best way to massage them using the gun. A very useful little bonus.
Getting Started
Getting started with the massage gun for the first was a breeze. The battery came half charged and with the quick charging type-c charging port, was at full charge in about 20 minutes. Putting in and taking out the provided heads is incredibly easy. Although you want to make sure you line up the notch on some of the massage heads with placing it on the gun. And twisting them as you put them in helps too.
In the hand, the Bob and Brad C2 Massage Gun feels light. And at only 1.5 lbs. it is the perfect size for travel or to take with me to the gym. As far as operation, the massager only has one button. Making it incredibly easy to operate. Simply hold the power button for 3 seconds to power on or off, and press once when on to change through one of five, preset speeds.
Perfermonace
Getting into the performance, the C2 has a nice kick to it. There are five pre-set speed settings and I found myself using level 2 of 5 when digging in with the smaller, harder massage tips. While kicking it up to 3 or 4 with the larger ball and button massage heads. Perfect for literally beating out the sore muscle area. It’s nice having the ability to switch between the two. By far my favorite massage head is the double tip. Perfect for really inflicting some pressure.
This model features a 40lb stall point, which seemed to be plenty for me. And is very comparable to others on the market in the same size and weight range. I never reached that limit when using the gun, even when driving in deep with the pointy fork head. I’m all about that deep tissue.
Battery Life
Battery wise, I found that I could get 10-15 minutes of use without event f=getting down below 50%. And found myself charging it 2-3 three times a week. Even with daily use for about 15 minutes. And the type-c charging port shouldn’t be underestimated. This thing charges fast compared to models without this feature.
Closing Thoughts – Bob and Brad C2 Massage Gun Review
After two weeks of testing, I’m ready to give my official Bob and Brad C2 Massage Gun review. With a lot of competition on the market, brands are looking for ways to stand out. And the first thing that the C2 gets right is the packaging and carrying case. It looks expensive and makes for a great gift because of that.
Next, the size and weight of the massager is perfect for both men and women. And is also the perfect size to take with you while traveling. For its size, the C2 packs a good punch, and should work for runners and most people in general. But if you’re a larger athlete and looking for something you can really drive in, you may want to look at a larger massage gun. With higher stall points.
The only other feature that the gun is lacking is an adjustable speed setting. While I found the 5 speeds perfect for me, and well designed for the size of the gun. If you want full speed control, you’re going to want to look at another model.
Conclusion
All things considered, I’m a fan of the Bob and Brad C2 Massage Gun. The combo of size, power, battery life, and charge speed make for a very functional machine. And the overall packaging and design is high end. With the 5 massage heads being the icing on the cake. Can’t tell you how much I love the prong head.
So if you’re trying to make a choice on massage guns and this one is on your list. Don’t hesitate to pull the trigger. And as I continue to use mine, I’ll update this page if I run into any issues.
